One of the amazing things about being a metalsmith is that the tools, concepts and processes I use are the same that others have used for hundreds, if not thousands of years. I value that tradition.
That said, my work has its design origins in contemporary American Judaica, starting with the Jewish Museum's Tobe Pascher workshops. My work comes to this time through the use of contemporary design motifs and cultural reference. The work is "tomorrow's Judaica heirlooms today."
